Did you know there’s a nonprofit physical fitness organization that’s been in America for over 150 years? It’s true – and we’re in your neighborhood! The social community of Sokols in America celebrated their 150th anniversary in 2015. We are the American Sokol Central District, covering Illinois, Missouri and Wisconsin.

From tots to seniors, our units have a variety of not only physical, but also social, cultural and educational opportunities as well. The focus of American Sokol is to create communities where all of its members have a strong mind in a strong body. Are you interested in gymnastics, volleyball, dance, or socializing? Sokol has something for everyone! Each unit offers their own unique activities to keep people involved no matter what their abilities, interests or age.
